August 2011 - powerful order management tool available for zedas®cargo

Within the new order management system, we will be able to support business processes for managing requests, cost estimates, proposals, contracts, orders and invoices for freight transport services purchase and sales. In addition to transport services, we will also account for the provision and leasing of locomotives, carriages and personnel, as well as the purchase and sale of ancillary services.

We remain committed to our product philosophy that zedas®cargo is an integrated solution. Our order management system enables commercial processes to be linked with the planning and implementation of operational processes. Information on the status of orders can be obtained directly from the latest operational data, which enables convenient and accurate costing of jobs. Data quality is increased while at the same time minimising the outlay for information acquisition and internal coordination.

Our order management system has been developed in close collaboration with our customers. In future, users of zedas®cargo will be able to integrate commercial and operational processes more efficiently, leading to visibly improved working practices and a significant increase in competitiveness.
