Interview with DSW21 at the ZEDAS Summit 2025

Fabian Schilberg (Head of trackwork) about zedas®asset and Summit

Fabian Schilberg ZEDAS Summit 2025 This year's ZEDAS Summit provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas with numerous zedas® users from a wide variety of companies - including new customers who were attending the event for the first time. In a personal interview, Fabian Schilberg, Head of Trackwork at DSW21 Dortmunder Stadtwerke AG, tells us why the event was particularly valuable for him and why the decision to use zedas®asset was exactly the right one

How did you like the ZEDAS Summit?

The Summit was very successful from our point of view - especially because it was our first one. It was a great experience. Networking was particularly important for us as "newcomers" to see how other companies use the system. With the zedas® software, there are many ways to adapt it to your own needs. This has helped us, especially in our current kick-off phase.

Were there any new insights or inspirations that you took away with you?

Definitely - especially in terms of connectivity. We received a lot of new input on how we want to use and expand the system in the future. This has helped us to get a clearer idea of how we can make optimum use of zedas®asset.

Why did you choose zedas®asset?

The decision in favor of zedas®asset was based on its user-friendliness. The Smart App in particular impressed us with its handling and suitability for use in the field. It met our requirements and proved to be a suitable solution for our daily work processes.

What do you like about working with ZEDAS?

We have found the close and continuous support from ZEDAS to be particularly positive. Even after the purchase, there is an active exchange with the sales team. We consider the personal atmosphere at Summit and the professional support to be strengths of the cooperation.

Conclusion

The interview with Fabian Schilberg shows: For DSW21, the first ZEDAS Summit was an added value as part of the implementation of zedas®asset. In particular, the practical exchange and the partnership-based cooperation with ZEDAS were highlighted as key success factors.
