iaf 2025: ZEDAS impresses with digital expertise
Software solution for railway infrastructure and rolling stock convinces industry experts
Münster, 05/22/2025 – At the International Exhibition for Track Technology (iaf) 2025, ZEDAS GmbH presented its software solutions for digital maintenance management in the railway industry. With zedas®asset Infra and zedas®asset Rolling Stock, the company impressively demonstrated how digital tools can significantly simplify the daily work of those responsible for railway infrastructure and rail vehicles.
Maintenance reimagined – directly on the track and in the workshop
With zedas®asset Infra, the experts at ZEDAS demonstrated how maintenance can be carried out in a data-driven and predictive manner. The Spatial Asset Viewer, which allows infrastructure managers to see the status of their assets at a glance – including all systems, condition data, and relevant measurements – was particularly popular. This helps to avoid downtime, plan maintenance measures more effectively and use budgets more efficiently.
The solution is complemented by the mobile app zedas®asset Smart, which allows defects to be digitally recorded and processed directly on site – even offline. Standardized workflows, structured defect catalogs, and checklists ensure end-to-end transparency and traceable processes.
ZEDAS also impressed in the fleet sector: zedas®asset Rolling Stock addresses key challenges, including complete documentation, efficient workshop planning, and cost-effective maintenance. Whether component tracking, digital order management, or transparent documentation for authorities, the solution is tried and tested and scalable to future requirements.
High visitor response and lively technical discussions
There was great interest at the booth in Hall Middle, Booth M630: Fair visitors took advantage of live demos and personal discussions to convince themselves of the functional depth and intuitive usability of the solutions. The topics of mobile maintenance, resource-efficient planning and integrated data visualization were particularly well received.
“The discussions at the booth showed that zedas®asset meets the current requirements of the industry, especially with regard to mobile maintenance and data visualization.”
Digitalization meets practical benefits
With zedas®asset's solutions, ZEDAS is setting new standards in railway asset management. The iaf 2025 once again emphasized that anyone who wants to make railway maintenance fit for the future needs transparent data, mobile processes, and reliable digital systems.
