Senftenberg, 05/23/2025 – ZEDAS GmbH introduces a major innovation in its logistics software zedas®cargo with the launch of AI-powered staff scheduling. This new feature marks a significant advancement for railway undertakings, drastically reducing planning effort and significantly improving resource utilization.

The feature was developed in close cooperation with Hector Rail Germany. At the touch of a button, the system creates ready-to-use personnel schedules and automatically takes into account qualifications, rest periods and absences. The optimizer also automatically plans duty travels—the journey from home or hotel to the place of work.
