Logistics and maintenance - Process optimization through holistic software solution
Our publication in bahn manager 01/2021 uses various scenarios to illustrate how logistics and maintenance processes are linked and coordinated by connecting zedas®cargo and zedas®asset.
These points are addressed:
- Visualization of infrastructure and real-time information in the plant area

- Derivation of investment decisions based on maintenance and load data
Conclusion
A large number of synergies can be exploited through the efficient interaction of logistics and maintenance processes. By taking a holistic view of shunting logistics and asset management, asset availability can be increased and operating processes and costs optimized.
