Terms of participating in online events

At irregular intervals, ZEDAS GmbH offers online events (live and on-demand) on various topics relating to railway logistics and asset management.
Registration for an online event and participation is only possible under the conditions listed here. By registering for an online event or requesting a recording of an online event, you expressly accept these conditions of participation.
1. General Information
ZEDAS GmbH, A.-Hennecke-Straße 37, 01968 Senftenberg, Germany, offers online events (live and on-demand) with different thematic focuses as a service for interested parties, customers and partners at irregular intervals. The following terms and conditions apply between you and ZEDAS GmbH when conducting online events.
2. Registration
To register for an online event (live or on-demand), click on the button "Register for free" or "Request recording". To register, the following personal contact data must be entered and you must agree to the conditions of participation.

To participate in an online event, one registration per online event is required. As soon as you have registered for the respective online event, your registration will be confirmed by e-mail. With the e-mail you will receive your access data for the respective online event.
In the course of the preparation and post-processing of the online events, you will be contacted by ZEDAS GmbH by e-mail to remind you of the online event and to provide you with materials for the online event (e.g. link to download the presentation, recording). In addition, ZEDAS GmbH will inform you in future about other online events, downloads and events organised by ZEDAS GmbH. 3. Cancellation of Online Events
We reserve the right to cancel the online event at short notice in the event of a too low number of participants, technical problems, cancellation of the speaker or for organisational reasons. The participants will be informed about possible alternative dates. No further claims can be derived from this.
4. Change of the Course of the Event
ZEDAS GmbH reserves the right to replace or omit individual parts of an online event, provided this does not affect the overall character of the online event. Likewise, the actual speakers may differ from the persons announced if they are unable to attend.
5. Cancellation of a Registration
ZEDAS GmbH is entitled to cancel registration for an online event.
6. Cancellation by Participants
If you cannot attend the online event, cancellation is not mandatory. If you still wish to do so, you can cancel the online event at any time by sending an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. 7. Data Protection
Please read our privacy policy. By registering, you agree to the processing and use of the data you have provided within the scope of this online event.
8. Technical Requirements
In order to participate in our online events, technical requirements must be met, such as a stable internet connection and a browser.
9. Copyrights
The materials used in the online event enjoy copyright protection. Commercial use of the materials for own purposes is not desired and requires the express consent of ZEDAS GmbH.
10. Liability
All information in our online events has been carefully compiled. However, it has not been checked by an independent third party. We can therefore not vouch for its completeness and correctness. The information in our online events does not constitute a guarantee, assurance or other warranty.
We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages, including loss of profit, resulting from the use of the information contained in the online events.
We also accept no liability if online events start late or are completely cancelled.
11. Costs
The online events (live and on-demand) are offered free of charge.
12. Use of Event Documents
All content, images, quotations, charts and the documents made available for download as well as the recordings made during the online events enjoy copyright protection and are the property of ZEDAS GmbH. The contractual partner is entitled to use the documents provided for its own purposes. Any further right of use, in particular for publication, reproduction and transfer to third parties, is only permitted after consultation with and approval by ZEDAS GmbH.
13. Final Provisions
- Insofar as a contract is concluded with an entrepreneur (§ 14 BGB),
- the place of jurisdiction is Cottbus.
- the applicable law is German law.
- These conditions of participation are subject to German law.
